Tribe Culture

At Blackpanda, we do not use the word "family" to describe our organization; we already have our own families and we understand that none of our colleagues are more important than them. What we are is a tribe, and we joined together because of our families — not because we needed another one.


Much like our ancestors 10,000 years ago, we choose to meet every day at the same cave and to hunt for food, scavenge for berries, and defend against wildebeests together because we know that we can provide more for our families united, rather than individually. We do not lie to each other that the tribe comes first — we know that our families come first, and we support each other to meet this endeavor to provide, protect, and nurture our respective families above all.


While we are proud to run hard alongside intelligent, capable, and motivated fellow Pandas, the tribe comes second to family.

We want our people to actually like what they do. Knowing that life is more than work, we strongly encourage and support personal time and growth. We know we can do both. The quality of our minds determines the quality of our decisions – and the quality of our decisions determine the quality of our lives.
